I was about to buy Lactaid to have on hand and aw a product called Digestive Advantage. You take two pills the first two days and then one pill/day everyday. I guess the advantage to this is you don't have to remember to take it when eating dairy.
Has anyone heard of this?

This is basically calcium, lactase enzyme (same as the stuff in the other lactose intolerance tablets) and lactobacillus probiotic cultures. The rest of the ingredients are binders and stabilizers. The manufacturer's web site doesn't contain any information regarding any clinical studies for this product, only the regular Digestive Advantage (just probiotics) for IBS.

To their credit, you can order free samples from their web site.
