I've been having chronic headaches....think they are migraines but not sure...anyway went to see a neurologist for the first time. He, himself took the history and of course I told him I had an ileo. He said he would have to be careful of the meds he prescribed. So the meds he prescribed were not effective so I called the office yesterday and spoke to someone today. They said they would call in an Rx for new meds for the headache and nausea.

The pharmacy was getting the rx ready when I asked what the doc called in.
To my surprise a RECTAL SUPPOSITORY was called in for the nausea. I just laughed and said I guess the doctor didn't read his notes. What was I supposed to do Confused

That is too funny!!!! I hope that you got a laugh out of it at least.

On a serious note though, I hope that he gets it right and finds the right meds to ease your symptoms.

I have the problem with the migraines and the nausea too and the routine migraine meds would make me sick. So me and the doctor came to the conclusion that using a narcotic and zofran odt, which disolves underneath your tongue. ER docs are the worst, especailly when I am having a Crohn's flare or a kidney stone. J-pouches and some of the Crohn's meds goes right over their heads.
