Alot of people shrug off the new year & some make high unatainable goals,I just look back to where I was and what i have been through & where I am now. All of us know this is a tough road to walk which we have no choice, but we do about the attitude we put on each day! Perhaps I am too sentamental or too religious for many but i am so thankful that as long as I have air to breath, I bump into better days and I survive through tough times, and I stumble upon a web sight where I find friends who hurt, laugh & cry just like me! i thank God for the grace He gives and the friends He has given me through this web sight! Happy New Year to each one of you! Sincerly, Danny

Hey Danny, Happy new year to you too. I think it's great that you can look on the positive side even through adversity.
For me, 2007 has been the worst and hardest year of my life, so i am bidding it farewell and giving it a little kick on the way out.... But you are right when you say that we choose our attitude, and a good attitute goes a long way. Hopefully this coming year will bring joy, happiness, and many reasons to smile.

I'll walk this winding road into the great unknown.

Thanks Danny for the perspective. I am also more than ready to bid 2007 goodbye. I am hoping for continued health and some answers to my health questions.
My biggest wish is for peace for my children especially my son who is being deployed to Afghanistan Jan. 16th. It certainly puts everything into perspective for me.

Thanks, Danny. Happy New Year to you, too.
2007 was a lousy year for me as it was for a lot of others, so no tears saying goodbye to it, that's for sure. Looking forward to better days for all of us!

Dan,
What a great sentiment. 2007 was the absolute worst, most punishing year of my life. Even though the arc of my year moved from illness to "cure", I don't know how I got through it. The scars are both physical and internal. But the point of these operations was to live to see better, happier times, our disease and chronic torment a thing of the past.
So, 2007? You're fired. 2008? Welcome aboard, we expect great things from you.
Happy New Year.
