Hi all,

Well, after my holiday travels I managed to get a cold and I'm thinking it's a stomach virus too b/c I have been sick at my stomach. No pain or cramping but I definitely have diarrhea and gas and I have lost about 5 lbs. in 2 or 3 days. I feel okay, just puny. I am currently taking Levaquin for pouchitis, which I have been on for 2+ weeks so I don't think it's that bothering me because it never caused an issue before. I e-mailed the doctor's office to let them know what's going on, but who knows when I'll hear anything b/c of the holidays. I am eating and drinking, but not much.
Advice?
Thanks!

Liz

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. I was on cipro for a while for a kidney infection then I got a cold/stomach bug. It is very important to force down fluids. I started feeling better when I started drinking water/gatorade/V8 fusion.

No real advice...other then try to push fluids, but you already know that. Hope you start feeling better soon. Smiler No fair being sick on a holiday. Frowner

I felt real crummy yesterday, (which was Christmas Eve, and my birthday).

It was the first Christmas Eve in my entire life I didn't spend with my family. I was better today, so we all got together.

Have a fabulous day!

I tend to notice when I get a cold it does affect my pouch so it may (hopefully) just be related to that.
