If you eat a bean burrito for breakfast and chug a Fruit Punch + Berry Gatorade in the afternoon, that evening your ostomy bag will fill with a substance that looks amazingly like blood. ALARMINGLY LIKE BLOOD! I freaked out. Called my surgeon. He could not understand why I would be bleeding like that and suspected the Gatorade. Next morning all is well. Geez! This illeostomy is going to give me a heart condition.

Yeah and red twizzlers will do that too! I've also noticed lately that candy corn will turn it orange!

It's fun to eat different foods just to see what the 'out come' will be!

Swedish Berries also turn everything very red!

Try beets, wait a bit, and then eat guacomole chips. Beautiful Christmas colors! Absolutely gorgeous.

Our intestinal issues notwithstanding, a bean burrito for breakfast? You are a lot braver than I am!
