Hi Angela, Excellent! I was up and running (literally!) straight after my TD too! Home on day 3 Sounds like you're having the same experience! Great! Good luck - slather on the Calmoseptine/Ilex so you don't get sore, and away you go

Oh poor you I threw up bright green bile the morning of the day I was supposed to go home, and worried it'd mean I couldn't leave. But they let me go anyway. I hope you get home soon. I'm a firm believer in getting home ASAP. Nothing like having your own bed, your own bathroom and no more hospital food! Good luck Just take things slowly, eat soft stuff/liquids and accept that your body needs time. I ate the same oatmeal drink that they gave us when I'd given birth to my daughter - like very watery oatmeal porridge, with a bit of sugar and milk in it. It gives you energy at least. Don't feel embarrassed about accidents. Nurses deal with these things all the time, and you can't be blamed for not knowing how to "drive" your new body

Angela, keep looking beyond the present, because I am sure in just a very short time it will be much better. It seems that there are always some set backs initially. I know there was with me. I always wanted things to happen sooner than they did. We are all rooting for you and excited for you--------Bye for now-leftie

Glad you had a better night. There will be ups and downs, but I hope everything calms down soon and you can get home soon. Good luck!

Hi Angela, I'm so happy to hear that things are getting better. I know how badly you want to get home, but it's good that you stay one more day to make sure you're up to the trip. Hope to talk to you soon,
