my name is jake and its been about a year since my surgeries
i have UC and had 3 surgeries to have my colon removed, and now i have a j-pouch
im 19 years old, in college, and pretty healthy
but something has been scaring me lately

i normally go to the bathroom around 3-5 times a day depending on how much i eat, but for a few days ive been going to the bathroom once every 50 minutes. nothing barely comes out, i didnt even think i could get constipated anymore.

has this happened to anybody else with a j-pouch? should i go see a doctor? i hear there are a lot of medical conditions i could get regarding a j-pouch, so i've been worried.

i dont wanna go back to the damn hopsital xD

Could just be a common case of pouchitis that can be easily taken care of with antibiotics. If that doesn't work, you will need to be scoped to see what's what. It is also possible that this is an anal stricture or obstruction higher up.
