Hi! I'm looking for anyone out there who was found to have a leak prior to takedown. I'm in my 11th week from surgery and had a test last week that confirmed a leak. How long did it take for the leak to heal? Is there anything I can do to help it along? My surgeon said it will probably be another six weeks. With all the trouble I've been having with the bag leaking (I think "leak" is now my middle name), I'm really anxious for takedown. I'm getting a lesson in patience, I guess. Thanks for any replies!

Vicki

Vicki, I had a leak on my test too, if I remember correctly it delayed takedown for 2 more months. A leak is definately not an issue you should be worried about, I had my takedown 9 yrs ago without any hitches. Also if you were or are on steroids they slow down the healing process, so it definately would take longer to heal if you are using them. Good Luck Scott Mc
