Hi everyone, does anyone else have a mildly sore throat, some slight difficulty in swallowing and being inclined to gag (from my last visit to the dentist - very difficult!)? I seem to have these symptoms since my takedown in March, and cannot seem to get rid of them. Thought I would float the question in case there was some relationship, otherwise nothing to do with the pouch at all. Thanks in advance, Possie

I got sore throat symptoms for awhile but that was after I started taking methotrexate. It lasted for about a month and came upon some research that showed it was a side affect of the drug.

Are you on any med's for anything else?

Go see your doctor and have him examine your throat. You may have suffered some irritation or damage from the endotracheal tube that is placed during general anesthesia. The sore throat should not last more than a few days.
