Just wanted to pass along some information I received from Dr. Fazio this week. He has begun training more surgeons on the creation of KPouches due to his belief that they have corrected the problem with slipped valves. He is still concerned about hernias but I am not sure that the risk for a hernia is greater for KPouches than other pouches (others may be able to comment on this though).
