It's been seven years after take-down and the my GI doctor has decided to give me flagyl. The first thing I have noticed is my but does not burn much. Second I don't have to strain as much as before. Often I would take prune juice or chocolates to make me go. I notice also that I can hold more in my pouch before I feel the need to go. However I still go too many times. I hope I don;t have to take any m ore flagyl. I am afraid of the side affects.

Today Is the last day I am taking Flagyl. For seven years I have not taken any antibiotics except for one time. I found out that what I thought was constipation was really inflammation. Today I don't have any trouble going. My frequency has slowed down. I hope I continue doing good without the Flagyl. Before I would take prune juice to go.

Now that things are doing better perhaps you could start VSL#3 DS (some insurance companies will help pay for the DS version). It might keep things in balance for you.
