Happy Birthday Glenn.
I guess I write this because it is another milestone for his adventure with UC and the pouch.
I can't help but remember that on his 21st birthday he was not out haveing fun like he
should have been. He had his first C-Scope that day. I guess he did get to do some drinking
but it was Fleets-Phosphate of Soda.
Nine years later he is pretty healthy,eats like a pig,has 5 trucks,3 bobcats,house,has
a good Landscape business, and a 300 HP boat. So life does go on after UC.
He of course also has SUPER OPUS, my granddog.
Thanks Doc Nusbaum and Doc Deren.

Thanks for sharing Glenn's success.
Being the Mom of a Kock poucher and watching the suffering from age 16 I can relate completely.
I look forward to sharing those milestones as they happen!
Happy Birthday to Glenn.
He is so fortunate to have you for his Dad.

Happy Birthday Glenn! Big Grin

I'm with Kathy, we need photos.

Mike, I remember you coming here when Glenn had his surgery. Have we really been members this long? Where has the time gone? I must be getting old! Roll Eyes

Thanks for the update on Glenn. Hope you are doing well too Mike.

Thanks for the Glenn update, Mike. Time does march on, doesn't it. Even though j-pouch surgery is far from perfect, it does usually allow us to move forward and live an active and healthy life. As long as we focus on the positive, the little annoyances don't seem like such a big deal.

And Mike, how is your UC doing? Staying in remission?

Jan Smiler

Take a deep breath and relax; this too will pass.

Kathy wanted to see the buffed Glenn.

I seem to detect that the hair line is moving
back a little in his old age.

Congrats Glenn! And to your dad too! Its so great to hear success stories. I know Glenn went through some trials to get here, but from the sounds of it, he has found a regimine that works for him.
