Hi all,
Sorry that I haven't posted in while. I've just been spending alot of time getting back to the way my life was before the events of the past two years. I do want to update you guys. I had genetic testing done to confirm my diagnosis of FAP. And, the results came back positive. As many of you know, this doesn't really mean much other than I'll need to be screened for other tumors/polyps in my upper digestive system and for thyroid problems. Other than that I am doing very, very well.
On a brighter note, I'll finally get the opportunity to go to physical therapy school (that is if I am accepted). I've applied to the graduate programs at two schools here in Alabama: Alabama State and UAB. Wish me luck!
I hope that those of you that read this post are doing as well as I am (or better), or at least are on the road to wellness.

Boy Jason, does anything surprise you anymore? Did that diagnosis come out of the blue, or did you some idea?

BTW...that is such a nice picture of you and your wife. And congrats on PT school.

Sounds like the genetic testing confirmed what was already known!

Was the defect found in the APC Gene or MYH? Curious........

Also, you do know of the being mindful to get Upper Endoscopies done WITH a side viewing scope, etc... as well as a mandatory biopsy of the papilla? PM me if you'd like to take off the board! Smiler

Congrats on surviving Cancer, I did too. Smiler
