I have a question... I had my 1st step June 6th, came home on June 21st after an illeus. Have had lots of back pain and pain in buttocks area but for the past couple of days, it seems a little worse. I also since yesterday feel a little of pressure in the groin area.. off and on. I also feel very tired. The pain is enough that I have been taking tylenol and advil for the past two days. My doctor mentioned that about the 3 week mark there is a risk of abscess. Has anyone experience an abscess? What were the symptoms? Would they be a lot more severe that what I am experiencing? Has anyone felt better with their backs and buttocks pain and then gotten worse for a couple of days? I need some reassurance. I have so much anxiety over this. Patricia
