On friday morning i went to emergency because I had severe stomach pains and they werent going away. They did some tests, i thought it could be a blockage but it showed nothing. Im positive it was because the carrots i had ate passed 24 hrs later...and it definately doesnt take that long.
Anyway since then ive been having those same stomach pains off and on. A month and a half ago i was put on ulcer meds because i was feeling the same pains, i have one more pill left before i am off them. It also hurts a bit after i eat, like it did before my surgeries. Im worried it might be a sign of crohns, im hoping ulcers. The doc at the hospital said that it could just be the flu and that i react a lot worse then i did before, I had had some very bad pains by my ileo and found out it was only a swollen lymph node (i have never had them swell there before) I have a pre surgery screening on tuesday with in gastology? Does anyone know what tests they will do? Im not supposed to eat after midnight and its for takedown. Will they be able to find out what these pains are? Or should i book a different appointmen? |

They might make you drink the vile barium junk and x-ray you to check for any blockages or anything. I don't have a lot of advice for you but I just wanted to say that I hope they do figure out what is causing the pain.
Have you been under a lot of stress lately that could be causing "flare ups?" Take care and let us know what they find out. Oh, and if it were me I'd probably go ahead and book another appointment so you'll have it if you need it; you can always cancel. "...all things work together for the good of those that love Him..."
