i have just had surgury for scar tissue after having issues for years from my j pouch i still can not eat an xray shows an obstruction just above where the j pouch was constructed has anyone had this problem? i see my general surgeon on fri i am hoping it can maybe be enlarged with the use of a ballon. please give me some ideas. thanks shawne

Hi, sorry you are having issues.

My daughter has a strictured area at the inlet (top) of her j pouch and she has to have a balloon dilation to open it when she has a blockage from the narrowing. The surgeon does it. She has a scope and the balloon is passed through and then blown up for the dilation.
