Hi all
I was just wondering if you could help with a question. From what I understand, in America you must pay for medical care, ie it is not covered under your taxes? Is this correct or am I completely wrong. If so, what were the implications with your surgery? And what about visits following surgery and medication? Here in the UK all healthcare is covered by income tax and national insurance which is automatically taken from salary. Love the people who treat you right Forget about the people who don't If you see a chance, take it If it changes your life, let it |

A lot of larger employers offer group health insurance,if you work full time. If you're below a certain income than there is Medical assistance from the government. Although that can very from state to state an depends on income and family size. If you have a pack of kids its easier to get....a single person has a tough time. I am on the Medical assistance which has covered all of my expenses..(.but as my kids get older, once they're 18 if not in full time school, they come off the insurance.) I have to admit as they get older I wonder what I will do. There's no way I could afford all my care and with chronic disease no insurance company would insure me . politians are always talking "health care crisis" I guess we wait and see...
