Hi guys. I have a j pouch and had surgery to correct a blockage a little over a month ago.
I just had a 'pouchogram with reflux' yesterday because I've been having alot of pain and vomiting. For some reason I can't keep any food down after 5pm. lol. I think I may have an ulcer but the doctor thinks otherwise.
Everything with the test went fine, was painful but they said I did fine. I had a few extra bowel movements that day, and a ton of them during the night. They were white and then changed to the normal color and consistency towards morning as expected. This morning I ate breakfast as usual and took my citrucel fiber supplement and 1 immodium like usual. I usually take it several times a day but only had it once today. This afternoon I started feeling a bit of pain and realized I hadn't had a bowel movement yet. The pain is starting to get worse and I still haven't passed any stool. Should I be concerned? I usually go like.. 10-15 times a day:/ I'm not nauseous at all and still have an appetite. Thanks!

I would go on clear liquids, walk and lay off the immodium and fiber, until you start to move your bowels regularly again. I dont want to see you get a blockage!
