I just use VSL. Fibre products seem to reduce my ability to empty easily. The VSL itself seems to thicken things up and reduce acidity.

Just VSL for me. I am on a pretty strict low acid diet for my Interstitial Cystitis though. Hi:
Before starting VSL about 2 months ago, I used metamucil 2/3 times/day. With VSL I use very little metamucil.
