Do you get gas out at night. When you have gas can you get it out on the toilet or lay down. For me the only way I get gas out is laying on my side or stomach, so when I lay down the gas tends to creep down towards it's way out.

Gasx to help you break down big gasses into small ones then Activia and big sips of hot tea should help digest your food well...and you won't have any problems.

Gas-X is just simethicone, completely different than lomotil or Imodium. It is very benign, but often does not do much for intestinal gas. It's very good for stomach gas and helps you belch. It certainly cannot hurt. Jan
Take a deep breath and relax; this too will pass.

I am not sure anymore what is wrong. I am so upset. Last night I barely slept because of the discomfort, seeming to be gas but I am not sure. I have hard time getting anything out, gas, bowel movements. Once everything passes. I feel better. Gas hurts so bad when needs to pass. I do not understand. Could I be slowing things down too much during the day. I take loratb for cramping(endo) I take flora q, and one lomitil, and 2 wafers. Maybe this is too much. any advice

All gas rises so the idea is to get your body into a position where the gas can rise and exit! For me, lying on my right side works best. The gas must pass over the top of effluent and out my anus. Coughing hard while in this position (or in any of the following positions) helps push the gas out, but have some protective pads, towels under you in case more than gas escapes! Also, standing in the shower with a hand held shower head and spraying warm/hot water up my anus while relaxing has also allowed stool and gas to escape easily. It may sound gross but actually, is easy to clean up in the shower. I have since purchased a TOTO Bidet for my toilet and spraying hot water up my anus takes care of releasing gas. Also, getting on the floor/bed with your butt up in the air may help the gas rise and exit. My surgeon laughed when he saw me in this position in the hospital. It worked!
