For the most part, I can keep the BB under control. However, whenever I sweat the BB gets SO much worse. Why is this? Can sweat interfere with the calmoseptine's ability to act as a skin barrier? Is there anything I can do to remedy this situation? I ask because I work for UPS and my job causes me to sweat alot. I hope to find a way to prevent this from happening when I return to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Got to keep that bum dry back there to heal. So, you are in a bit of a pickle.
I have never used it, but people swear by ILEX to keep things dry. It sounds like it provides a serious barrier for your skin that you might try. The only other thing I can think of is wearing some absorbent/wicking underwear. Something like poly-pro or maybe a sports type short that is designed to keep the moisture off your skin. I would think the increased pain is also due to the salt in your sweat getting in the raw skin (ouch!). "...it came to pass..." - I Thess. 3:4b (NASB) |
