Hello pouchers..I've had the best experience with my surgery. Everything couldnt have gone better. I was back to work 4 weeks after my first surgery, POOP bag and all. I have a computer job, so i can sit 3/4 of the day. I had a little trouble when my stoma shrunk, until we got a bag to fit. Then i had my takedown, and I was back to work 10 days after that one. I learned my limits through the whole thing. Havent had alot of pain until the sex part. How long will i have pouch pain? It hurts when i need to go. Is it normal for you to have pain during/after sex? how long? help please?
UC for 15 years Total colectomy with jpouch on Dec 21,07 reversal feb 8th,08 pain free, and med free

Deb I am very happy to hear of such a great success story. There was a post I believe if you type in painful sex in the find box and uncheck the box that says this forum only, you will find the threads. Holly
