Hi,

I have had a jpouch for about a couple of years it got placed in 2004. I had surgery last year for exploritory surgery for adhesions and ever since then I have been suffering from nausia and stomach pain. I also can't eat solid foods. I get fed through a g tube. I haven't been able to eat for a long time. I can't poop or pass gas without the help of a catheder that my Dad made out of a turkey baster. I also have pouchitis and my gasto has me on rowasa enemas for it. My surgion told me that he can only think of one thing and that is to give me a perminant illeostomy which I don't want because I don't have the dexterity to put it on and I have allready had two before. Please give me advice what should I do? I am really sad and cry a lot in my room. This is really depressing for me. I really don't want to get surgery again because that would make number nine. I have had eight so far.

Have they tried to save the pouch by using antibiotics?
