26 y/o guy here. Had Colectomy 9 yrs ago for mistaken UC, correctly diagnosed as Crohn's this summer by pill camera. Have been having severe abdominal pain radiating between shoulder blades for many years. Began Steroids, then Humira. Recent hospital trip for pain resulted in another pill camera, showing no inflammation. My refractory IBS doctor in Pittsburgh UPMC hospital, Dr. Leonard Baidoo, has recently concluded that I am suffering from a Neuroma from one of 4 past surgeries. Prescribed Ultram, a TENS unit, and Neurontin for nerve healing.
Has anyone dealt with this? I'm in a good bit of pain most of the time, appetite is down as fullness seems to push and increase pain. Is surgical repair possible?
