Sure I get the burn at times. For me it seems it is worse on weekends. I think my diet, sleep habits, and stress are different on weekends - making my digestion a bit different too. Calmoseptine is good, but I use Gold Bond medicated anti-itch ointment. It has an anti-itch ingredient (menthol) and a pain reliever. Seems to work for me pretty well. You have to get past the menthol "burn" for a few minutes. Then it feels all better. And sometimes it seems that putting some A+D on after the Gold Bond really soothes things.

I guess everybody does. I get it as well 10 weeks post takedown. I tried everything over the counter and nothing works as well as my prescription called Clotrimazole/Betametasone. I even bleed like small dots when you dry with toilet paper, it really stings but with one night of this ointment, it's gone. You can apply desitin after applying the ointment to seal it in case you're having diahrea. Hope this helps
