I know this is probably a stupid question but could tanning in a tanning bed hurt the jpouch. I know it is suppose to conform as a colon but could the heat do anything to it? After all I have been thru I don't want to damage it but I am thinking since it is inside it shouldn't hurt. Any ideas?

Well, your pouch is just small intestine, so no, tanning will not hurt your pouch. However, it will hurt your skin--to include skin cancer, wrinkles, brown age spots...
I used to pop into the tanning bed here and there but now that I am older I am realizing it is not a very smart thing to do. I will admit though, that the cold winter weather is getting to me and it would be really nice to get some warm sunshine.

Thanks I thought it was ok but when i saw the 3-d pic I thought something was connected between the anus and the intestine. I know the skin stuff I actually have only tanned one year out of my 35 but I will take the risk this year. lol

I never had a problem with tanning in a salon.

But, when I go abroad i.e to hot countries I cannot expose my tum to the sun as my pouch goes mad that night
