Has anyone experienced an increase in bleeding with cuffits while using anucort hydrocortisone suppositories?
I have been on them for 3 days and the blood started to increase as of yesterday so I am not taking them this eve and calling surgeon's office in the am.
I was not sure if this was from my dilation on Tuesday with biopsies, but I seemed ok for a day after that and once I started the suppositories, the bleeding has increased.
I just cannot seem to get the inflammation in my cuff and right above the rectal anastomosis under control. I have tried cansasa with better luck the these suppositories, but still have been able to get the bleeding to stop and now it is much worse and I am concerned.

I would tend to think it is most likely due to the trauma of the scope. Inserting suppositories of any type can retraumatize the area. I'd hold off on all suppositories for a few days, the. See how it goes.

Thanks Jan..that is exactly what I am doing and calling the surgeon's office tomorrow. I am definitely in more pain than I was before the dilation procedure and starting this new med.

Are you doing better? As you know I received my cuffitis diagnosis yesterday and am on the same medication except only once a day.
I'm still in pain from the procedure, the cuffitis and my adhesions and am really down. Are you in pain too? If so what are you taking and does it help?
I hope no post here is a good sign and you are feeling better.
