Hi friends:
I had a stricture and balloon dilatation last May 27th. That helped and improved a lot my condition (TD was last April 10th). I reached the record of 4 trips/day 3 times! I have just started exercising and doing an almost-normal life... However, about 3 weeks ago pain came back and I had a MRI to find out if there was an abscess or some other problem. Nothing found. Dr. said the most probable would be a muscle contracted. I started taking some relaxants (for anxiety), and problem seemed to improve, but this week pain came back and worse. I have to take tramadol to help but if I stop it, pain comes back. No fever, no blood, no diarrhea, only a terrible pain, but it's not constant: it comes like spasms, and hurts my right side butt. Feels like if I could not hold the urgency, and spreas to the entire pouch, the right of the butt, and sometimes more... Do you think it's time to see a neurologist? Maybe my pelvic nerve was damaged... I really appreciate your advice... Thanks This message has been edited. Last edited by: Jimmy Neutron, |

I am sorry to hear that you are having such bad pain. You said that you had just started exercising before, does this include lifting weights? The reason I ask is because a couple of years ago after I had moved I had horrible pain in my pouch. I went to the doctor and he told me it was most likely from heavy lifting. I hope you feel better soon and I would suggest talking to your doctor again because the pain has come back.

I had a really weird pain on my right hand side after surgery. It sometimes felt like it was right near the anus, other times it felt deeper inside, other times it felt like it was shooting vertically in my pelvis. I was convinced I had an abcess or something major was going on. MRIs showed nothing, the doctors weren't sure, and then it slowly disappeared. I started feeling the pain less and less and now I haven't felt it in months.
The nerves all around that area get pushed around and messed up a bit. I think it takes time for them to settle down, I've heard that is usually takes 6-12 months. It could be something else or something serious, but I just wanted to let you know what happened to me. I'll walk this winding road into the great unknown. |

Hi friends:
Well, it seems it was a muscular/neuronal problem, I was injected dexabion (dexametasone + vitamine b + lidocaine) and it improved. Seems it has gone, at least for 2 days... let's see how I do next week. Thanks anyway. Your advice is always appreciated. |
