Hello everyone,

I got an email from Dr. Shen today about my case. He wants to see me before May for an officer visit with him and Dr. Fazio. And then he wants to do a scope to see what my surgery options are.

He told me that I have Crohn's and Crohn's in the pouch.
I've been told before by my GI in Boston that I had pouchitis and cuffitis and I'm taking Cipro and Flagyl for them.

Could this pouchitis and cuffitis be Crohn's? or can they co-exist with Crohn's? How can one determine what they are?

Dr. Shen wants to start me on Humira. I took it before for 2 weeks but had to stop it for the temp ileostomy surgery.

Any thoughts?
