I have had a fair amount of bleeding since I had my 1st stage surgery one month ago. At first it was just pink coloured mucous but now it is bright red and there is much more of it. It is strange that I have felt no pain. I also have no fever. I passed a rather large blood clot this afternoon and I am worried that it might get worse, what should I do?

Hi Nadia,
I had my first of two stage last June. My surgion told me not to worry when I started to pass mucus rectally. He also said that it would be "very Colourful". He actually said it would be all the colours of the rainbow. Don't be too concerned about it, but talk to your surgeon. Terry |
