hi, i noticed that after a long hot bath i see some blood with my bowel movements afterwards....i was told to take hot baths to help a possible abscess come to the surface, so it can be lanced. i am wondering if the bleeding is from the heat irritating my cuff??? the last time i had a scope my cuff didnt look too bad, just a couple tiny ulcerations. is bleeding after baths something to do with the cuff or could it be something draining from an abscess/fistula... i don't usually bleed like that.

My best guess is it is bleeding from a draining abscess. Perhaps it is draining internally, rather than outside. A couple of tiny ulcerations may not sound bad, but it is active cuffitis, so that can be a cause of active bleeding and the baths may just be coincidence.
