Hi guys,
Tahnks for your messages, much appreciated.
I ve seen my surgeon today and its not a hemorroid. He took any that were there out during surgery. Its a bit of pouch mucosa that has come forward and slightly prolapsed possibly due to straining too much. I was told that it is not serious and that i just need to take it easy when trying to empty,,some pushing is ok but no straining. I am to be sensible about it . So its back to trying to tailor diet to make sure i dont get blocked up and so I dont get liquid stools causing butt burn. Vegetables are going to feature more and rice less. I feel like i need to rethink stuff.
I am feeling better in myself and happy i ve checked myself out so at least i knwo where I am at.
Thanks everyoen for being there for me,,it means so much
Ewa x

Well, I'm glad you got that all sorted out. I found out a long time ago that I don't need to try to have formed stool. My output is more often liquid than solid, but it is not a problem for me so I don't worry about it.

Take a deep breath and relax; this too will pass.

Hi Ewa,
I am glad the Dr reassured you. I did tell you way before surgery that diet was going to be a challenge for you since you ate everything for so long unlike most of us with bad UC and accustomed to diet restrictions.
It will get better. Still need the lamb recipe!
hugs

Jan, I ve sort of come to the same conclusion,,no need for solid stool..i prefer it when its loose actually . So will change diet accordingly now. Easier and quicker to empty that way.
Yes Holly you did tell me..i am not good with restrictions of any kind..lol
I suspect once the pouch settles I ll end up eating anything again.
I ll find the recipee for lamb for you x
