Ingredients of Boots Aqueous Cream are;
Liquid Paraffin B.P. 6%
soft white paraffin B.P. 15%
also Purified water, Emulsifying wax and Chlorocresol 0.1%

So I guess it might not be suitable for using under your wafer, but for BB I have found it really works.

But... after 22nd July when I get a perm ileo, I will need the same as you. Please let me know if you find a good alternative to Chiron

I had a lot of but burn and still do. ( Wont have a butt hole soon though ) What has aleays worked for me is Calmoseptine ointment. U can get it at a drug store but they need to order it. It is non prescription. Ask Pharmacist. This stuff is pink, thick and will stain your clothes and undies. If you can,t find it go to www.calmoseptineointment.com 1-800-800-3405. Good luck!! Ricky

Marina, I'm going to give the Pelican cream another go for a week and see how my skin gets on with it. I had tried it 4 years ago when I first got Wee Willie and it really didn't help at all. My skin has probably toughened up by now it might be ok. I'll let you know the results.

After much experimentation with help from the Stoma Nurse who suggested quite a few alternatives including Cavilon "no sting barrier foam"(try asking the doctor's receptionist for that!!)that puts a type of seal over your skin ,I've started using Coloplast's Comfeel barrier cream and I find it works well

Hi Bert,

Glad to see that you've found a product that works well. I have to say that I found the Comfeel cream (who came up with that name?) worked really well too when I still had my j-pouch. Of course it's no good to me now though so I am still on the lookout for any contraband Chiron Cream.
