I have stricture at the rectum site and was scheduled for dilation on the 14th of this month. Since fri I have been very uncomfortable, lots of bloating, and my belly doing a lot of rumbling with very little watery stool passing. If I push hard nothing at all will pass. How long should I let this go before calling the dr? I have had my pouch for 15 years and have had strictures but nothing like this. Any advice is appreciated Thank you

If you are that uncomfortable with the stricture, if I were you, I will call the doctor first thing tomorrow and let them know how uncomfortable you are. Since the dilation is usually a very quick procedure, hopefully they can squeeze you in this week. If not, maybe ask if a partner surgeon would be willing to do it.
