Hey everyone, I'm going on two weeks post takedown and I have developed an awful itch down below. I have had the occasional butt burn when I go to the bathroom but that usually goes away as soon as I am done. This itch however lingers for quite a while after I am done using the bathroom. If anyone could tell me what works best for the itch and where I can find the product it would be much appreciated. I need relief ASAP. Thanks everyone.

And carry some cottonelle flushable wet wipes with you everywhere. Using them after a BM gets everything really clean which helps.

Calmoseptine used here after clean up. I even put some just " inside " to make a barrier and that eliminated the burning/itching combo I was having.

I use a perianal cleansing lotion (CVS brand, Balneol) followed by a zinc oxide ointment. The cleansing lotion is what helps me most with itching.

I use Soothe&Cool. I had my surgery in 1994 and I have used it since then. It is by Medline and is INZO zinc oxide barrier cream. Great stuff.
I recently found some at a good price on Overstock.com.
