Hello:

I am a 24 year J Poucher ( take down 1984) looking for advice from anyone that may have or be passing through a similar problem. I am a candidate for a prostatectomy ( full removal of the prostate - retro-pubic prostatectomy) due to cancer. Good news is that it is still within the prostate so once removed the cancer should be gone. Problem - The J Pouch surgery makes things a little different from the usual anatomy. Can anyone advise on their own experience or a family member that may have gone through this surgery with the J POuch? I would love to speak further with you regarding your experience. I will need to make arrangements shortly. Any supporting info would be appreciated. BY the way - The J Pouch has been excellent for these past 24 years. If I can provide any support for you - please let me know

thanks

mike
