Yesterday I began feeling slight pain between my stoma and my ribs on the right side of my abdomen. This area is very tender to the touch. I've had my gall bladder removed so that isn't the cause. I still have output so I'm sure it's not a blockage. What else could cause this. Please advise. Thanks.

Hi Jason,
I had the same pain. In fact, after TD I was still sore there for a long time. Unless you're running a fever, feeling ill in general and/or the skin in that area is pink/red and warm, I think it's probably sore muscles, like Jeff says. "Today I'm 51 % sweetheart and 49 % dragon*. So don't push it. (*Percentages subject to change without notice.)" |

Naw, I'm sorry guys, I don't like the smell of this one bit.
Eight months after your last surgery? I'd be either worried about a muscle pull or much worse. I'd imagine you're pretty close to takedown, I had mine done after six months and I was an extreme case, although nothing cancer related. I hate to be a harbinger, but if it's anything more than something you can explain from a simple afternoon of gardening or whatever, well, let someone know. Could be nothing, could be something... |
