Hi Everyone, My wife went through a J-pouch procedure in Oct of 2007. She went through several complications including leakage right after the one-step surgery which required her to get an illeostomy. After her takedown she has constantly suffered with stricturing as well as a fissure. After repeated in-hospital dialations, the stricturing stopped. Finally, she had a surgery last week to resolve the fissure. The doctor stichted the fissure and mentioned that all rectal cramps/spasms should be resolved. She had no cramps to two whole days after the surgery. However, with the third day, the rectal cramps/spasms have returned!!!! Has anybody experienced this? Any advice? Thanks a lot for your time and suggestions.
