Hi everyone,

I had all-in-one J-Pouch surgery on 8/1/06. I feel great, however as a result of my surgery I am suffering from retrograde ejaculation.

I was told today that I will most probably be given some type of hormonal medication. The doctor just needs to review my blood work I had completed this past Saturday.

Has anyone ever had any experience of know of anyone who has also suffered from retrograde ejaculation? As far as I can understand, my boys down below look fine on the sonogram. The doctor practically thinks this is a bump in the road, but I'm nervous as hell.

I think some type of surgery is an option if the meds the doctor is talking about have no effect. Thanks all.

I experienced it after my step 1 in '05, but it fixed itself after about 3 months or so- strangest thing I've ever experienced.

Wasn't a huge concern for me, because we've got 3 kids and aren't planning any more.

A MUCH bigger concern for me was nerve damage and not being able to perform- thank GOD I dodged that one...

I posted also on mens I suffer from that and partially ED its been 18 months and I notice some change to the better through time slow go it should return I have it happen maybe5-10 times... also I get partal erections maybe 65% used to be maybe 10% so there progress give it time and also do what ever therpy you can .

My doctor said like anything else they messed with alot of nerves there so they will need just time and therpy. If you where completely dead for liek 2yrs then I would say sorry bud thats it for you.. So far from what I heard on the site myself and 1 or 2 other suffer the worst case of ED and other issues from it on the site that is any questions you need answered PM .

I'm 33 been married going on 6yrs been sick for 5 and my wife said I want kids now look! she is not a happy person every day I hear I want kids!! so I give my little buddy alot of therpy so he will work and with about 1yr I went from 10-65% and every one said it won't return even a few doctors so theres hope..
