I went to se my GI Specialtist and upon doing the scope exam he found an ulcer. Right away I though this isn't good. The ulcer is located in my pouch. I'm not feeling so great about this so could someone tell me something!!!! I had the surgery to rid of the colitis. And if the colitis should appear then it would show in the area near the rectum. Please could someone calm me down, my thoughts a racing a mile a minute!

If you have an ulcer in the pouch it is probably pouchitis and you should try a course of antibiotics to treat it.

If it's in the small amount of rectum remaining (the cuff) then it could be the UC in which case you would probably treat it with suppositories.
