I had the pill cam yesterday at 8:15 am. and have still not passed it. Today I can only empty a bit at a time and if I strain nothing comes out. I have not been to a GI or specialists five years prior to this as I was held down for the exam and it was NOT pleasant:
As gross as it sounds I found a vinyl glove and tried to do my own exam and the index finger did not get far and my pinkie only got to the second knuckle. Any advice on how to help this thing through? Also I have no major pains or bloating and I am due to leave for vacation Wed eve to Jamaica. Thanks so much

As long as you are not in pain or developing a distended abdomen, you have time to wait. But, if two days go by without passing it, you need to go back and have some x-rays done to see where it is. It can easily be hung up somewhere that you cannot reach with your finger. This is why it is important to not let too much time go by before investigating it, espeicially if you have travel plans.

This might kind of be like a blockage. Maybe stop eating, but increase your fluids...I had that pill cam, and it passed through me in 2 hours. my doctors thought it was incredible
