I had two dilations that were very aggressive and done at the hospital under twilight sedation and I leaked after both of them for at least a few days or more. It is normal and I never leaked after any in office dilations but always after these. The good news is my stricture finally stayed open after the second dilation. I too am suffering from chronic pouchitis and have been on antibiotics the whole time since takedown just like you. You can expect to be pretty sore after the dilation and I used a heating pad between my legs for 3 days and stayed in bed until it passed. Hope this helps. Lisa

It's not entirely unheard of. See how you progress over the next couple of days. If it continues more than a couple days, call the surgeon.

I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties. I hope the leakage resolves soon. I don't have any advice because I've never gone through a dilation procedure before. However, I'm having a dilation under anesthesia on Tuesday. I just wanted to thank you for posting and giving me a heads up about what to expect. My surgeon didn't give me much info.
