Hi

Does anyone know if there is meant to be bright red blood when you have a cutting seton in? Also the wound hasn't healed right - have big red bit sticking out and i think that the fistula has just moved nearer to the sphinctermuscle - is that possible?

I cannot get a hold of anyone to help me see my doctor and I don't know what to do

i had a cutting seton put in in february. i had bleeding -it is cutting so that makes sense. im not sure what you mean by red bit....i had a white thing hanging out-hard plastic thing that was sharp. doctor said it was just part of the seton. it fell out once the seton cut all the way through. what do you mean by fistula moved closer to sphincter muscle? why do you say that? how long ago did you get the seton?? my wound still isn't closed up....keep trying to get your doctor on the phone i guess..
