Oh yeah, narcotic withdrawal can really knock the stuffin' out of you and it can linger for some time. So, I'd give it a couple of months at least to level out. That way you would really know what you are dealing with. Of course, your baseline may not be what you want it to be and chronic inflammation just takes its toll, with fatigue as a byproduct. That will be a good time to make decisions. Sounds like you have a good plan. Jan
Take a deep breath and relax; this too will pass.

I have suffered from extreme fatigue as well. The worst was when I could not even walk up my stairs, my muscles just wouldn't work! I found out that I have autoimmune hepatitis along with my UC. Evidently, liver disorders can be quite common with UC. With my liver function tests (AST, ALT, Alk Phos) way out of wack, my fatigue worsened. Have you had recent liver function tests done? I say recent because my sister was diagnosed with an autoimmune liver disorder a year before I was. I was tested right after her diagnosis and all tests were fine. A year later, I developed similar symptoms, and what do you know, elevated tests! Good luck!
