Hi everyone! I am back to work after my hernia surgery! This is my second week & I still get prety sore & depend on 1 percoset every 4 or 5 hours! All & all I am doing well. They did Lapo & found two more hernia's to fix. Made 12 incisions all around my abdoman & put mesh in. I'm still sorta scared because I get burning & pain on one side when I turn in bed and cough hard! Can't see how I could develop another one?!!I can eat pretty much anything after this time span. What gets me in trouble is when I over eat or too much sugar! Then I pay all night with BB ! There are quite alot of us who had takedown about the same time & I pray this is a great year for everyone! i really have high hopes & expectations for this year after 5 surgeries in 2007. I just wanted to check in & hope all is well with my extended family!! God Bless! Danny

Hey Danny...glad you're on the mend. Take your time in getting back to your routine. Five surgeries is a lot of stress on your body!! I think you and I were fairly close in takedown. Mine was Oct 4 '07. I am feeling great. I have just a few issues with leakage at night, but hey...people get headaches, pulled muscles, cold sores, ...we get leaks!!! Stayin' positive!!!

Hi Danny. My takedown was on Nove 7, 2007. I am doing well so far. My one complaint is cluster BMs, which is mini BMs but in short intervals...like one every 20-30 minutes at times. This can last 2-4 hours and gives me major BB too. But I have been incorperating more fiber in my diet so that may the cause too.

You are so brave in having 5 surgeries. I've had 2 and then 3 staff infections after the takedown. I just want to be pain and symptom free! Good luck Dan! Judy

Hey Dan.
Glad to see your doing well. I saw Dr. Robb today for my 4 month checkup. Things are going well...as long as I avoid the ButtBurning foods Eeker
Take care
