I'm just over a month post takedown. Everything is going pretty smooth. Normal output, normal gas cramps, normal healing ect. For the last few weeks though, the color of my stool has been becoming more and more red. I'm only eating Greek yogurt (vanilla) soft pretzels, chicken and mashed potatoes, so I know it's not some kind of dye. Im wondering what is giving my poop this red color. Am I bleeding or something?

It could actually be the dye on the soft pretzels. See if they have dye in them.

Does it look like blood on the tissue when you wipe?

It looks red, I don't think I see any tissue though and I didn't eat one of those pretezls today for it can't be that.

That's kind of odd since you are not eating anything with a red dye to it. Are you taking any vitamins that have a red coating? If it continues, I would give your dr. a call just in case. Usually you can tell if its blood or not.

It has happened to a couple of times, but I ignored it because on next trip color went back to normal. Hope it's nothing of concern in your case. Good luck!

Nope, I'm not ingesting anything red at all. I don't know, I'll just watch it and see what happens I guess.
