Has anyone had to be dilated after take down due t o problems emptying and is this a simple day surgery?

I had several dilations under sedation in the hospital. They are very simple procedures. You are put to sleep and then awake in 30 minutes. You will likely not feel any pain, but relief when you next try to use the bathroom. Things should flow much more smoothly. Each time, I wake up in the hospital and notice a stain of blood from the procedure. So if you see that - do not freak as it is normal.
