Wow, its like my body knows i,m going for surgery I got the date for a redo after a year and to explore to see what is going on well all of a sudden my private area blew up like a ballon for no reason so I ran to the hositol.

Well after days of being there they said I had a infection due to bacteria or a std I laughed so hard when they said that I asked the doctors if you have to have intercourse .(joking) to them of course for this to happen they said yes I said well its kinda of hard when I have ED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then they said its prolly from my wound and other new problems going on with my body.Lol love how they guess at problems.........

2 days later its all better after some meds and such then I get sick , like really sick throwing up hot flashes etc for hrs .

I call them they say they have no idea what to do if it gets bad come in for some IV fluids bah I said nah I will drink my own water for free being the smartt a$$ I can be sometimes they laugh within a few hrs I felt like running down the street like nothing ever happen wierd huh?

Well few more days pass already found a hernia in my stomach well 2 more hernia popped all of a sudden I,m not a happy person at this point is god telling me something??

Before my last surgery fisures came up with in 1 week of surgery its like someone telling me something before surgery what i'm yet to figure it out but my body is so cut up and fake from all this surgeries .

Dude, you have so much to rant about. Sorry to hear about the continuing complications and problems. Maybe you should ask for a big, honkin' piece of mesh to be put into your abdomen to keep all of those hernias at bay. Sheesh!

I can't remember how far out from the last surgery you are, but you have never really "receovered," have you? I think our bodies really act strangely while in a compromised state, and it's like things keep poppin' out of the woodwork when we're like that.

After my colectomy (where I was in the hosp for 18 days, lost 40 pounds, was on lots of meds, etc.) I went home and thought I was recovering nicely. Then I was back in the hosp with an abcess for 10 days - finally back home and thought I was through. Of course, while I was in, let's see: lump on my scrotum (turned out to only be fluid), fluid near my lungs, etc.

So, I get home with my PICC line and antibiotics and things seem to be going well. Go in for a doctor's appt and everything looks good. The NEXT DAY, my belly swells up and gets red/warm and infected looking. It starts on one side but soon involves all of it from side to side. Sometimes I felt like I would pop I was so bloated. Went back to the Infectious Disease doc who worked me in, put me on a second antibiotic (thinking skin infection), more CTs, etc. Finally I left them scratching their heads. My Colorectal surgeon finally theorized with them that it was a side effect of the lapro surgery months prior (air in my skin). It finally resolved itself.

So, like my Mom said all of the time: stay away from the hospital. Things always pop up there

I don't know what it all means...but it certainly does tend to snowball when you have complications. When your resistance is low, you are at a higher risk for infections and other mysteries. Hopefully, when you go in for surgery a bunch of gremlins don't pop out when they make the first incision! Or, if they do, they can then see what the heck is going on in there.
