I can't wait to get rid of this ostomy. it fills up constantly and i make about 12 trips to empty it and i can't even wear normal clothes. anyone else wanna complain about theirs?

Ditto. And, don't you just love the looks people give when you say you have an ileostomy? The hardest part for me is trying to drive with a seatbelt cutting across right where the stoma is.

AND I hate the extra time I spend after every shower (or swim session) drying the doggone thing.

AND the leaks.

AND the noise.

AND the nasty smell when you change the wafer.

No kidding.
Leaking, noise, skin irritation, total destruction of my sex life, limited clothing options, can't go shirtless at the beach, can't sleep on my stomach, the seat belt thing, basically can't have any fun at all!
I really really want a j-pouch. It can't be worse than my UC, because my UC was unbelievably terrible.

How about when you cant get the stupid wafer to stick.. gaw one day I went through 3 befor I got my skin warm enough for the thing to stick. Or the funny looks you get from people when you come out of a family bathroom at a store cuz its just easier with a sink in there.

How bout trying to change your wafer and your wonderful stoma won't shut up! Your trying to readjust cutting the wafer because it's too small, while holding a paper towel over your stoma, doing a near backbend so you can apply the powder and skin wipe and yikes there's stool where you just wiped!! I need more hands!!!
