I just returned to work after major hernia repair, incision 'fixing', and placement of a large graft. This is my 7th surgery in 8 years (officially as of Easter). So why am I happy? Well for one thing nothing went wrong this time. Nothing hurts for a change. My family is fabulous as are my physician and friends. More, importantly we spent Easter in San Diego. It was the first Easter I have not let the 'anniversary' get me down. I really love my job and my life.
